An emerald gemstone that is naturally formed, cut in the shape of a marquise (oval with pointed ends), and graded as the highest quality is known as a “Natural Emerald Marquise AAA” (AAA Grade AAA Emerald). Marquise-cut gemstones are gorgeous, intense, medium-dark to dark green, well-cut, polished, and have a clarity grade of “very slightly included” with excellent brilliance. There is no better emerald in conventional sizes than this one.
