Natural Pink sapphire

Description

Natural Pink sapphire

Natural Pink sapphire is a naturally occurring form of the mineral corundum. They come in a variety of pink hues and are renowned for their endurance. The mineral corundum is the source of the valuable gemstone sapphire. One of the rarest sapphire colors is pink, which is brought on by chromium trace components found within the corundum crystal. The more chromium there is, the darker the pink. However, ruby is another gem variant of the same material that is known as red corundum.
